Getting Started with KSeF Guard
From download to first validation in under 2 minutes.
Before You Begin
Get the Installer
Download the MSI installer from our download page. One-click install, no admin required.
System Requirements
Windows 10 or later. WebView2 is installed automatically — it already ships with Windows 10/11, no extra dependencies.
Prepare Your Files
Have one or more FA(3) XML invoice files ready. KSeF Guard validates them entirely offline.
Validate
Launch the App
Open KSeF Guard from the Start Menu. The main screen shows a drag-and-drop zone ready for your XML files. No setup or configuration needed — it works out of the box.
Add Your Invoice Files
Drag and drop one or more FA(3) XML files onto the drop zone, or click to browse. The staging view lists all queued files with size, name, and ready status. Add or remove files before scanning.
Run Validation
Click the primary 'Scan All' button (or press Enter). The progress view shows real-time validation with a live log ticker displaying each rule check. Cancel anytime with Escape.
Review Results
The results dashboard shows PASS/FAIL status for each file. Expand any row to see triggered rules with Smart Hints — bilingual guidance explaining the issue, the legal basis, and exactly how to fix it.
Go Further
Export Your Report
Click the Export button to save results as CSV, JSON, or a professional PDF report. Standard and Pro tiers unlock all export formats. Free tier shows full results in the GUI with Smart Hints guidance.
Configure Rules
Open the Settings panel to customize which rules are active. Search by ID or keyword, enable/disable individual rules, and choose from built-in presets: Essential, Recommended, or Maximum. Standard and Pro tiers unlock full rule configuration.
Activate a License
Activate a License (Optional)
To unlock exports, higher file quotas, and advanced rule configuration, open Settings and navigate to the License tab. Paste your license key and click Activate — the license binds to your machine instantly.
Offline-First
KSeF Guard validates offline — invoice data stays on your machine. License activation and updates may connect, but invoice content is never transmitted.
CLI
Power users: the CLI binary supports automated validation in CI/CD pipelines. Export JSON results as build artifacts for full traceability.
